For the temporary exhibition McMasterpieces, Monica Khemsurov asked a handful of great New York-based designers to present original works using only parts ordered from the popular industrial supplier, McMaster-Carr. The works will be on view at Chelsea’s Ace Hotel with a reception sponsored by Rado Switzerland and 42Below. Khemsurov and Jill Singer, former editors of I.D. magazine, recently co-founded the journalistic and curatorial venture Sight Unseen. Rich Brilliant Willing will present a surprise product.
